bring snapshot to your kid's school
I bought my first camera after my third child was born because I wanted high quality portraits of my kids. Over the years, I’ve realized that school portraits are outdated and are rarely frame worthy quality. I knew there were moms like me who wanted timeless and authentic photos of their kids, but they weren’t quite sure where to go… And here comes the start of my boutique school portrait program called “Snapshot”. My hope is that this would be a snapshot in your child’s life and captured in a way that is timeless, authentic, and elevated.
A fresh & timeless perspective on school portraits

I operate under a cry policy. I know that kids can be unsure of picture day, so I will try to make it an enjoyable experience with the limited amount of time that we have. I can’t guarantee a photo of your child if they do not cooperate or if they are upset. I want this to be a positive experience for kids. I reserve the right to stop photographing a crying student.
Who doesn’t love a candid moment? Like I mentioned, I want to capture their personality if they are willing to show it. If your child is silly, laughing, or being stoic then I will include those in the gallery. As a mom, these are some of my favorites!
I won’t force your child to smile, but I will give my best effort to make this an enjoyable experience for them. However, I know that some kids can be more timid or serious, so you may see their personality pop through. My hope is to capture them just how they are, which means I may not capture a full smile.
The backdrops are neutral in style. I recommend choosing timeless and simple outfits so that you can treasure these for years to come.

Photos are delivered to the parent’s email address 2 weeks after the photos are taken. The parents will be able to view the gallery and place their order at that time. The prints will be mailed directly to their home.
I recommend timeless and simple outfits, such as neutrals. I suggest avoiding graphic tees or neon colors. However, if your school requires uniforms then follow your school policy.
You will be emailed your password-protected gallery to view and place an order of your prints if you choose. All orders take place online. Each child will be given 2-5 images in both color and black and white. You will then be able to choose which pose you want to have printed. I also offer a product choice for digital images.
No, you will have a print release to print elsewhere if you choose. I am unable to guarantee the color and quality of the images of third-party printers.
A makeup date is on a case by case basis with each school. However, I will host a makeup date in the spring at a studio location if your school does not have a makeup date.
All purchases take place after portrait day and once parents have received their galleries. I offer a variety of purchasing options to fit every family’s budget. Parents get to choose if they want to order and how much they want to order once they see the images. Get ready for the best school portrait experience yet!
